Finish is nice, but one corner arrived with a deeper ding than I am comfortable with for new luggage. Replacement process was polite, still waiting on the swap. Update later if it improves.
Great roller for city travel. Aluminum shows scuffs more than plastic would, which is expected, but they polish out somewhat with a microfiber cloth. Overall very pleased.
Second trip with the large checked version. Still rolls true, still looks almost new. Aluminum was the right call for how roughly my bags get treated in transit.
Compact enough for domestic overhead bins and still holds a week of outfits if I roll clothes carefully. The leather tag that came with it is a nice touch. Highly satisfied.
Flew with it as a carry-on and gate-checked once without panic. Came back unmarked. That confidence is why I switched to aluminum in the first place.
